Letter #11

Hola Familia,
so this letter isn't going to be all that long for 2 reasons... one, this week flew by and it feels like it was literally 3 days. and second... not any good news. :( so basically oscar didn't keep the word of wisdom so he couldn't be baptized and then we went and talked to him and he basically said he doesn't want to keep the word of wisdom right now, and that he needs more time and doesn't want a date to work towards so that was pretty awful. then the familia valdez didn't want to meet with us and gave us the whole... um my mom isnt here, as he looks at her for what to say. the next day we stopped by again, and josafina and evar weren't there. only the dad and he was drunk off his flippin rocker!!!! and we think carmen might actually be atheist.. so no one asisted church this week and all of our numbers were really low. we didn't find any new investigators, and it was just a difficult week. but we are still working hard, and putting our trust in heavenly father, and just letting go of the things we can't control. but we have faith that through jesus christ all things are possible. we are still happy :) and trying to help all that we can. we ask every person,"who is jesus christ to them" and most the time, they don't know how to answer. so my question to all of you is... "who is jesus christ" really find out for yourselves. come to know him in a way that when we meet him again, it will be like old friends. he is more than the things we usually say about him. when we truly know who is jesus christ for us specifically, this is when we know who we are, and our lives become better. because when we know our savior, there's always hope and there's nothing that he can't help us through!!! :) i love this gospel and this mission!!!! i love you all more than you know!!! :) the gospel makes me happy!!  for this im grateful!!! always keep the faith!!
